This project has been realised within the MN41 classes which objective is to acquire the basics of engineers problems numerical discretisation. As part of the courses, I have been brought to work on a C language calculus routine to determinate the state of a monodimensionnal system under external efforts. Beyond the program efficiency, I also focused on its robustness to minimize the impact of users' errors. Program main steps are : reading of the data files, definition of the global matrix, application of the limit conditions, determination of the constraints state, application of possibly existing constraints, determination of the state vector, determination of internal forces. The solution is transcribed under a matrix form which takes into account initial boundaries and system-linked constraints.
